" We talk a lot about love and the importance of love, and I think a lot of people come to Gnostic Insights here because I'm talking about love. "
And indeed it's love and how you share about love within your Gnostic insights that guided me to your Gnostic Reformation Cyd, so thanks again for doing what you do.
" Love is an actual standalone quality that is one of the virtues of God. It's the primary virtue of the God Above All Gods. "
Yes, the world now most importantly needs to remember this. The light, the energy , the miracle of the reality that is this " quality " of love is a real energy and not just a mental or emotional concept. I strive a lot to believe this reality and express it. It's the North Star guide for humanities earthly evolution.
" And by the way, speaking of the difference between the God Above All Gods and the Hebrew God Jehovah, that Old Testament God did not demonstrate love. "
Yup, you've got that right ! Along with many of the other " lesser Gods " in earth history and mythology who had a focus on violent sacrifice , retribution and punishment for not following the rules as well as a lot of just plain nasty behaviour.
Right, right, and right. "Love is a real energy and not just a mental or emotional concept. It's the North Star guide for humanity's earthly evolution." Well put!
I raised a lonely little dairy calf over the winter of 1972-1973, as a project to pass Ag. class. I was 14. I was not a bad 14 year old boy, but I saw how sad that little cow-calf was, all alone, just getting fed twice a day. I took her to auction, and was paid, and she went off to be fed and slaughtered. I was not paid enough to pass the class, because prices had been driven down under Earl Butz ("Get big or get out"), Nixon's Ag. secretary. Mr. Galant passed me anyway, even though I did not clear $50.
I pretty much stopped eating animals that I knew could be sad at that point, because Reality...
I can be sure my melons are almost ripe in the garden when critters chew a hole in them...
Something tells me you gave that sad calf some love. I feel especially sad for dogs that live in kennels or backyards with no pack, no interactions, no attention from man or beast. How sad is that? And we don't even eat those dogs. I can only hope these fellow Second Order Powers visit heaven when they are asleep and dreaming.

Great song Dr. Day !

We are Temples of Love.
;-)
And as I held that thought dearly, I was reminded of the song "Creatures of Love"
