"As Colossians 1:19 says, “For God was pleased to have all his Fullness dwell in him and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on Earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood shed on the cross.” This one sentence from Colossians contains the entire Christian Gnostic Gospel. Because Jesus brought along the entire Fullness of the Pleroma when he incarnated, every aspect of the Father and Son came to material instantiation on Earth. "
Thank you Cyd for this beautiful explanation of the meaning of Christmas in a Gnostic way. The meaning of the cross as you see it really resonated with me.
" The Cross should remind us that humankind has been redeemed by the body and blood of Christ in an even more profound way than acknowledging the indignity and suffering of Christ on the cross. It should remind us that the Son of God—the Christ—bridged with the form of his human body spirit-to-matter, which is top-to-bottom, and neighbor-to-neighbor, which is side-to-side." Absolutely no need to focus on the violence, blood, and suffering of Christ because that was not the intended message.
Wishing you and yours, Dr. John and kin, and all seekers of a loving way to live, Gnostic or otherwise, a very Happy Christmas and many blessings for 2025. Amen.
My junk folder today had many new contacts from this podcast. It's a Christmas miracle!
If you are a person who tried to contact me and didn't hear back within a couple of days, then your query landed in junk and I didn't find it in time. So sorry! All of my podcast contacts are winding up in junk, and if I don't fish them out in time they are deleted automatically by the program. I shall be more diligent in checking junk daily. I get about 200 junk messages a day--no kidding. What a scourge.
Thanks again Cyd. This bears repeating:

Thank you, Gabriella. Many blessings to you, as well.
