Thank You again, Cyd, for this clear elucidation of meaning.
One thing that I understood a little differently was this:
"Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. I will no longer speak much with you, but --the Archon of the cosmos is coming, and he has no hold in me--, but so that the cosmos may know that I love the Father, and that just as the Father has commanded me, so I do."
I read the Archon of the cosmos having "no hold in him" as meaning that there was no hook of fear within him for what was about to be done to him.
The distinction between the Spirit of Truth as something that comes from outside and the Advocate as something that rises from within, that is the tension I keep coming back to. The Spirit of Truth is not information. It is not a doctrine. It is a registration. Something in the body knows when it is aligned and when it is not. That is not faith. That is perception.
The part about the cosmos hating love because love is not useful to the archon. That lands. The system runs on fear, scarcity, and separation. Love does not feed that grid. It bypasses it entirely. That is why the Advocate is a threat. Not because it fights. Because it refuses to play.
The Holy Spirit as defense attorney is a helpful frame. The Accuser points at every crack. The Advocate says the crack does not matter. What matters is the intention behind the repair.
Thank you for this. It is rare to find someone willing to hold the Gnostic frame without falling into either literalism or vagueness. You walked the line.
Thank you for saying so. I'm so glad you have subscribed and are resonating to these insights. I often refer to "standing in the glory beam," when we're walking with the Father. By "a registration" do you mean registration as in alignment? I agree that we know when we are in alignment with the glory beam. All else is lateral connection with the cosmos that only yields riches in the cosmos.
Yes, alignment is part of it, but registration is more specific. It is the moment the body knows something is true before the mind has a chance to agree or disagree. A felt sense of coherence. Not a belief. Not a conclusion. Just a recognition. That is what I meant.
The glory beam is a beautiful way to name it. The lateral connections you mention, those can be useful. They can also be distracting. The beam is narrower. It is also more stable. Thank you for the distinction.

He intended to give it as a gift of Love.

Good. I can see that.
